Training Classes

Adventure Puppy

5 weeks/ $175

Get your adventure buddy off on the right paw with this one of kind class for puppies!

Join us for this unique class for young puppies that focuses less on skills and more on temperament. We’ll begin with some simple agility to teach our puppies confidence in trying new things and following human leadership. Then we’ll introduce our puppies to new sounds, surfaces, and environments through a series of outings- hiking, creek exploration, patio dining- designed to expose them to novel situations, and encourage them to always focus on their human. Of course, I’ll also be answering ALL your puppy questions regarding nipping, biting, chewing, and potty training; I’ll just be doing it on the trails, creekbanks, and dog-friendly patios of NWA. If you want to set your puppy up for success in this crazy world and help him become the ultimate partner in your fun-finding missions, then Adventure Puppy class is for YOU!

Puppies MUST be LESS than 16 weeks of age when class begins, healthy, and current on all age-appropriate shots, including bordetella/ kennel cough.

Agility For Fun & Confidence

4 weeks/ $140

Is your dog shy, fearful, and/or moderately reactive? If so, then this class might be for you!

Agility isn’t just for competition. It’s a great way to build self-assurance and help your dog overcome fears. This four-week class will introduce easy obstacles using a positive approach that builds confidence in your dog and trust in your leadership. It’s PERFECT for pups struggling with sureness, exhibiting shyness in strange situations, or showing moderate reactivity with strangers or other dogs. It’s GREAT for big, clumsy dogs who need to learn to appreciate their back feet. It’s TERRIFIC for focusing mental energy, and it’s just plain FUN!

Some basic obedience skills are required, but mastery isn’t necessary. Ask if this class is right for you.

Pandemic Pooch

5 weeks/ $175

Did you spend pandemic time teaching your dog everything but social skills? Now that things have re-opened are you discovering your pooch is afraid of strangers, street noises, and other dogs? If so, then this is the class for YOU!

Modeled after the very successful Adventure Puppy class, we will use our time to focus on building confidence and creating positive social experiences for your dog. This 5-week session will begin with two weeks of agility to help your dog learn confidence in trying new things and trust in your leadership. The next two weeks will introduce public spaces such as a park and/or downtown area. In our final week, we’ll visit one of NWA’s dog-friendly patios.

Some basic obedience skills are required, but mastery isn’t necessary. Ask if this class is right for you.

All classes require a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 dogs. Classes are held outdoors at a variety of locations and may be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Individual make-ups for missed classes are not available.
